Our Work
Inner Sydney Strata Garden
This apartment complex in Woolloomooloo has a formal, established garden set across two levels with lots of Buxus and Murraya hedges and ornamental Camellias. The upper level is fully exposed with lawns that require constant care, and the lower level is a large, partly-shaded courtyard that has challenges often caused by lack of airflow and light.
As with all large gardens, we were engaged firstly to do a big one-off clean-up to bring the garden up to standard. Following that, we begin most strata garden maintenance contracts by meeting the committee members and putting a list together of everything that needs attention, plus a list of wants and suggested improvements.
It’s important to remember that every garden is a work-in-progress, constantly changing and evolving, which is why we provide residents with regular reports and updates.
Small garden in Coogee, Sydney
A large amount of our garden maintenance work is in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney, for private residences, real estate agents and strata properties. This small garden in Coogee is pristine all year round thanks to the owner who takes a genuine interest in her garden, recognising the importance of maintenance being both regular and performed by gardeners that understand their work, allowing for the correct treatment of pests, diseases and deficiencies.
A small water-wise garden in Vaucluse
This small garden in Vaucluse, Sydney, is one of our favourites, partly because it is water-wise and involves a mix of native and exotic plants, but also because it is so appreciated by its owner who is always open to suggestions but in turn contributes ideas and opinion. Discussion with clients is fundamental to the success of a garden and makes our job easier, more fun and, in turn, more challenging and rewarding!
Large architectural garden in Vaucluse
On a large, sloping block in Vaucluse, in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs, this garden is a big maintenance challenge, not least because carrying in equipment takes time and energy that Friday afternoons don’t always provide! Gardens in Sydney’s east have challenging sandy soils but if planted with the appropriate plants this is less of an issue and consequently this garden requires no irrigation or extra watering. However, weeds will always blow in on the coastal breeze and this demands regular maintenance to keep the garden under control.
